Meet Linda Loomis, Director of Adult Education

Linda’s role springs from 25 years of experience as a Children’s House guide, teacher mentor, and teacher leader. She is the Program Director for Global Montessori Educators Institute, a training program for Infant/Toddler, Early Childhood and Elementary guides. GMEI Teacher Education Program is offered as a program of MSOW.

Linda has been a member of the MSOW family for nine years, serving in different capacities. Her interest in Montessori was piqued when her two sons first attended a Montessori school. She loved the independence the children exhibited and the respectful nature of the program. Linda completed her Montessori Certification for Early Childhood at Northeast Montessori Institute in Boston, holds a BS in Horticulture from UW Madison, an MSEd in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University, is DPI certified and is a certified Love and Logic Facilitator.   Linda is an instructor for GMEI, an adjunct professor for UW River Falls graduate program, and a presenter at the MSOW annual Montessori Paraprofessional Training. Linda lives in Waukesha with her husband Rob.  She enjoys gardening, biking, walking her dog Toby and spending time with her six grandchildren.
