Meet Gina Viola, Art Instructor

Gina joined MSOW in the fall of 2022 as the Lead Art Teacher. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education and a minor in Art History. She holds a Wisconsin DPI license in Early Childhood through Adolescence.

Part of Gina’s teaching philosophy focuses on community building, creative expression, and student-centered learning, and she works hard to try and integrate those into the art classroom. She feels honored to be a part of the MSOW team and is excited to see what each coming year has to offer.

Gina currently lives in the Milwaukee area with her partner and their cat, Moose. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, and of course making art. Her favorite art medium to work with is oil paint and clay.
