Meet Bethany Mueller, Student Services Manager

Bethany has worked at Montessori School of Waukesha since 2016. She was a Co-Teacher in CH1. In 2019 she transitioned to the Lead Teacher in CH4. Most recently has taken on the position as Student Services Manager, a new position added to the administrative team in 2021. As Student Services Manager she facilitates Special Education Services between MSOW and the School District of Waukesha, manages the Special Needs Scholarship Program, facilitates private specialists that work with students at MSOW, assists with enrollment and placement of students as well as helping to serve the students to be successful in the classroom in any way needed. She is excited to explore the potential that comes with this new role at MSOW.

Bethany received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Carroll University. She then pursued a career in Special Education and received her Wisconsin DPI early childhood (birth to third grade) special education license through the UW-Milwaukee exceptional education program. In 2016 she came to MSOW and was inspired to earn her AMS credential for Children's House. She completed her Masters in Montessori Education through UW-River Falls in 2020. Bethany also has a background in Applied Behavior Analysis and has earned a certificate from Orton-Gillingham- a multi-sensory approach to reading instruction. Bethany is excited to continue her life-long love of learning in her new role at MSOW!

Bethany lives in Waukesha with her husband, two boys, and dog. In her free time she loves reading, hiking, biking and being outside. Her children attend MSOW and she loves that they are able to learn and grow in the Montessori classroom.
