Meet Abbey Blunck, Upper Elementary 1 Lead Teacher

Abbey received her Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2001. In 2004, she graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with a Master of Arts in teaching and a certification for broad field social studies, grades 6 through 12. Abbey has since added history and political science to her certifications and completed her AMS Montessori Credential for ages 6-12 in May of 2020. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Abbey has taught various Social Studies subjects in the secondary classroom and has taught all subjects in Upper Elementary here at MSOW since 2014.

Abbey is a life-long learner who is passionate about educating children and watching them grow as learners. She has been considered by many to create lessons that are both challenging and fun. Making the material relevant to students’ lives is also a goal in her daily lesson planning. She strives to provide a supportive and inviting academic environment for all her students. Abbey also holds a Wisconsin DPI lifetime teaching license.
